Athletics play a major role in developing strong qualities in students. Character development, discipline and leadership are greatly impacted by active participation in Tiftarea athletic programs.  School spirit at Tiftarea is contagious and a driving force.  All students from kindergarten through the upper school attend pep rallies and games.  During the fall, Friday nights at Tiftarea are family affairs.  Parents tailgate, relax and enjoy the game.  Students enjoy the camaraderie of their classmates as they cheer for the Panthers.

Whether students enjoy football, softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, cross country, wrestling, track, golf or tennis, Tiftarea offers a team to join.  Varsity, B-team, junior varsity and junior pro teams are offered in various sports for students in middle and upper school.  Varsity and junior varsity cheerleading programs support football and basketball.
